Street photography is all about making impulse decisions. You get a split second to try and capture a natural human moment before it disappears, never to happen again. There are no do-overs in street photography.
I prefer to shoot street photographs on black and white film using my Leica M7. When out shooting my goal is simple - see what comes in front of my lens and take 36 photographs. When carrying my digital camera I will be more liberal with my shots as I am only inconveniencing a few electrons if I mess up, but film isn't so forgiving. I get 36 exposures and its up to me to make them as great as I can.
What you find in this gallery are the film (and digital) photographs taken on the street - people who didn't know they were being photographed but found themselves in front of my camera.
